Registering for the UniversityPath Service is a simple process. We'll describe it as concisely as possible:
- Register (using the link in the Register section below)
- Confirm. A confirmation message will be sent to your email address. Just follow the simple instructions! (Make sure to check your spam/junk mail, just in case!)
- Wait for activation. The administrator activates your registration. This shouldn't take more than 48 hours!
- Begin! We'll send another email (just to confirm), and you can login with the username and password you supplied during registration.
Please note: Check your Junk mail / spam filter to ensure that you receive confirmations, and other email originating from this site!
Also, if your degree is not on the site yet, it may take a while before it is added to your account. Check the Degree Listing for the list of available degrees. (There are some 2006 degrees, but we'll put up 2010 and up.)

How to Register

Registration is a three-step process.
- First, fill out the registration form. Only legitimate USC students can register, so you must supply your USC ID number.
- Next, confirm your registration using the link sent to your email account. It should arrive in about 3-5 minutes. Check you spam/junk folder to make sure you get any notifications!
- Finally, an administrator has to activate your account (may take up to 48 hours; in most cases, much shorter than that). You'll get another email (if successful), after which you can log in with your credentials.

Do I need to supply my USC ID number?
Yes, you do. It's the only way to ensure that we register valid USC students. It also serves as an important security checkpoint when making your financial transactions.

How do I pay for this service?
You don't. There may be a cost to put trades up on the BookTrader; you can check out the cost there.
How long does it take to get activated?
When you register, check for the confirmation email, and respond to it. When you do that, it should be completed within the next 24 hours: an administrator will verify and complete it.
Finally, you'll be sent a verification email. Be sure to check your 'spam' folder to ensure that you get these emails!
